Ricky Catter has appeared in over 150 National and local commercials. He has also appeared in principal roles on Films and TV shows such as NCIS: New Orleans, MacGyver, Prison Break, Barracuda ,Sister Aimee, The Good Guys, Chase ,Houston , From Dusk Till Dawn:The Series where he played the role of Abelardo Bustamante, American Crime on ABC, where he played Al Sanchez, as Anthony in the TV series Queen of the South, as Philip Carvel in the web series Freedom on Trial , as Detective Angel Garcia on the show Murder Comes to Town on the ID Network, as Ernesto in the 2018 Award Winning film Rich Kids, and most recently he can be seen as the character of Lorenzo in WALKER on the CW. In addition he has toured with The National Theater For Children. He has performed on many stages from The Kraine Theatre in New York City to The Actors Group Theatre in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ricky Catter is also a successful writer (under the name Eleazar Catter), for the stage and screen. His play Acting Whore premiered to rave reviews and was later adapted to a screenplay that became an official finalist at The Gulf Coast Film Festival in 2009 and his play The Poets, which premiered in 2012, won him critical acclaim. He has a passion for the art of acting and enjoys taking time with his students, while at the same time teaching them the necessary techniques to survive and have longevity in the business.
